1. What type of bicycle riding do you do and how often?

I cycle to work most days. I don't own a car (my wife does). I use my feet, bus (monthly bus pass), taxi, and car co-op) also.

2. What do you think your municipality has done well in cycling and where do you feel improvements are needed?

Improved the bicycle network considerably, but still has a long way to go. Especially completing the 1999 Vancouver Bicycle Plan including bicycle lanes on the bridges (Burrard, Granville, Cambie). Providing much more bicycle parking is important. As important has hard infrastructure is the promotion and marketing of cycling.

3. Do you feel more money should be spent on cycling programs and what do you feel the priorities for spending should be?

Hard and soft infrastructure ($20 million to complete the 1999 Plan); substantial requirements for developers and commercial building operators to provide bicycle parking; Major investment in the promotion of cycling (See One Day Vancouver, part of the Sustainability Office of City of Vancovuer)
