Hi there,

In case you haven't heard, Momentum is a magazine for self-propelled people, distributed free of charge in the Lower Mainland and in Victoria.

The magazine includes a "Bicycalendar," which as you may guess from the clever word play, is a calendar of events that relate to bicycles, and other means of self-propelled transport.

If you know of any such events happening in the Lower Mainland or Victoria, please email the details to and we'll do our best to give those events some free exposure in the magazine.

These are the types of events we publish in the Bicycalendar section: community meetings, sustainability and environmentalist events, forums and workshops, bicycle maintenance and safety workshops, fun(d)-raisers, bike-related performances, screenings, radio shows, readings, exhibitions, etc., and sporting events - cycling, ice skating, roller skating, skateboarding - anything 'self-propelled.'

Please keep your submission to about 25 words or so, and be sure to include who is organizing the event and all relevant contact information for the public. Upcoming deadlines are listed in the signature below.

Buckets of gratitude for any help you might offer in spreading the word about the Bicycalendar event listings to friends in sports, sustainability, environmentalist and activist communities.
