Cycling an Election Cause

It seems that cycling has become a common cause for both new and existing candidates. The good news: everybody is in favour (although there seems to be a little grumbling in Vancouver about the Burrard street Bridge).

I find it very curious that they don't give much indication as to what candidates did to "earn" the endorsement of the group.

Richard Walton I understand. But I don't understand why Janice Harris or Lisa Muri are on the list. Have they had a particularly good record of supporting MTB issues (that isn't my understanding, but I'm not expert on this), or is it simply they are better than any of the other existing councilors?

I find it curious that no challengers were endorsed. Surely some of the challengers had good ideas about MTB...
