Karen Klasen is running for council in the District of North Vancouver.

1. What type of bicycle riding do you do and how often?

I have a mountain bike and like to ride in the Demonstration Forest, and not often enough.

2. What do you think your municipality has done well in cycling and where do you feel improvements are needed?

It would be nice to have a designated bicycle corridor through the District. However, the current road configuration doesn't lend itself to this. In developing future road infrastructure, a bicycle lane would be a necessity.

3. Do you feel more money should be spent on cycling programs and what do you feel the priorities for spending should be?

I would have to have more information on the programs in question, before I could make a determination of priority.
