Vancouver Cycle Home

I live in Lynn Valley and work downtown so when I bike I usually take Hoskins down the hill and then Arborlynn to Mountain Highway and then Mountain Highway to the Freeway. However, in the afternoon I usually prefer to avoid the very busy Mountain Highway, especially on the overpass over the Freeway. Therefore I often take Orwell Street and trails from Phibbs Exchange to Hunter Street and then a paved trail along Lynn Creek that goes underneath the Keith Bridge and the Freeway bridge and then go across Lynn Creek at the "iron bridge".

This route is shown in the map below (with Green being my morning route and red being my afternoon route):

It should be noted that the officially signed bicycle route goes along Arborlynn and 20th Street rather than Hoskins. However, this route is much steeper and I prefer the more gradual Hoskins route (which is still quite steep).
